About CafeFrame

CafeFrame was built for independent café operators who want to make financial decisions with precision, not guesswork. Our tools are free, browser-based, and designed for the specific economics of café and coffee-service businesses.

The idea for CafeFrame came from observing a consistent gap in independent café operations: owners and managers with genuine hospitality instinct who lacked fast, reliable tools for the financial mechanics of their business. Spreadsheets were slow to maintain, and generic accounting tools did not speak the language of per-item margin, table turns, or labour cost percentage.

CafeFrame addresses that gap with targeted calculators that run instantly in the browser, require no signup, and store nothing. Every tool is built around a real operational problem, not a theoretical one.

Since launching, CafeFrame has been used by 183 café operators across the UK, Australia, Ireland, and North America. The feedback has shaped both the existing tools and the roadmap for what we build next.

Our Values

Four principles that guide every decision we make.

📐

Precision

Every calculation is explicit and auditable. No black-box estimates or rounded averages that hide the real picture.

🔓

Accessibility

All tools are free and require no account. We believe good financial tools should not be gated behind a subscription.

🔒

Privacy

Your numbers stay in your browser. We do not transmit, log, or store any data you enter into our calculators.

📖

Transparency

We explain the methodology behind every tool. No formulas are hidden, and every output can be traced back to your inputs.
